spiral's page of totally cool nin links
yeah, i'm obsessed . . . your point?
new! update - a lot of the old "classic" nin sites, like Leaving Hope, nineinchnails.net, happiness in slavery, hope & vaseline and Above the Trees, etc have either vanished from the ninternet or haven't been updated since the Lost Highway soundtrack came out. i have therefore banished them from my links!
- Go to the old burningsouls.com for a fairly complete archive of interviews and articles about god...er...trent. hasn't been updated since 2001, but it's still a good source for older material, like that classic "Details" interview from '95!
- then go to the new burningsouls.com for a very pretty and up-to-date all-purpose nin site.
- another excellent general nin site is the art of self-destruction.
- A good place for current, With_Teeth, interviews is the nin hotline archive
- Here's a surviving classic -
Crow and Tom Servo take on March of the Pigs!
-
If you're just desperate to know exactly what the latest happenings in ninland are, you must go to The nin Hotline to get up-to-the-second reports! The old Seems Like Salvation News is still up but there really isn't anything happening there anymore.
- The 9inchnails.net site ain't what it used to be, but it's still a good source for older information. Need to know all the Fragility tour dates? This is the place.
- now, i know you'd never do anything illegal, but if you just want to see how the naughty people do it, here's the link for the Bootlegger's Discography page
- If you wanna stay legit, here's the the most complete discography I know of - the nincollector.com site. Every freakin' release, halo's, promo's, domestic and foreign are all listed here. Hmmmmmm, based on his rating system, my collection is fairly respectable! But oh, what I'd give for a copy of the Australian "Into The Void"....
- Actually, I don't think I'm obsessed with Trent so much as I am with his (former) New-Orleans-Garden-District-Greek-Revival house! Too bad he sold it, eh?
-
there is some great stuff here at the art of nine inch nails site.
- if you're gonna venture into the vile territory of alt.music.nin then
amnin.com, the homepage for the newsgroup and the irc channel is really mandatory reading.
- But seriously, if you really want to talk nin, the only place to go is echoingthesound. The forum has a nice balance of fanboy rantings and serious discussion. and only a couple of the mods are nazi's :)
-
Carrying on with the nin Hotline bunch, I can't forget The Meathead Perspective. Meathead's takes on the world of nin are usually pretty funny - one of my favorites is "A Bad Apple". And Trent seems to like him, too!
-
and of course, mustn't forget the official site, nin.com. The new (ok, a couple of years old at this point) minimalist look is much easier on the eyes then old "click every where and maybe a link will come up" mess. It's nice that we can email Trent, don't ya think? I miss the webcam from summer of 2004, though. That was a great way to obsess for hours on end.
-
There's also andallthatcouldhavebeen.com as well, it's mostly just promo for the dvd, etc, but, you can still download the 3 performance videos from Still. it's a Good Thing.
-
And of course, now we have with_teeth or, witha_teetha, as some wags have dubbed it. In order to get into the bonus material site, you need to register, but if you want to get the lyrics THE WAY TRENT INTENDED YOU TO, ya ain't gotta choice in the matter.

OK, I know, trying to follow the flow of that giant .pdf image just to see the lyrics and album credits is a little tedious, so if you want to cheat, go to Painful Convictions nine inch nails Lyrics page. While you're there, you can also look up little known nin references in the nin encyclopedia!
