This should help you get on #freeasd chat. On the home page go to COMMUNITY, click on CHAT, click on GO TO, type in us.undernet.org in the first box, type in 7000 in the port box, click on enter. It will take a couple of minutes to load. When you see the list of rooms, click on JOIN, type in #freeasd and enter. That's all you have to do! Have fun!

For IRC all you need to know is the name of an undernet server, a port number, and the channel name.

You can get a list of servers and port numbers at: http://www.undernet.org

or just try something like:
ca.undernet.org:6667
us.undernet.org:6667

The letters and words are the server names and the numbers are the port numbers.

Many irc servers have geographic host names such as:
toronto.on.ca.undernet.org
Pick some close to your location for best response.

The channel names we've been using are:
#freeasd
#kleenexasd

With this information return to the Webtv Home page.

Select Community

Select Chat

Select Go to

Enter the server name (address) eg. us.undernet.org
Enter the port number 6667
Enter the channel name

Select connect.
